Comments:

In 2003, the SR 7 Collaborative conducted a market assessment for the entire SR7 Corridor in partnership with the Urban Land Institute (ULI). This assessment projected nearly 54,000 new Corridor residential units by 2030, in addition to a mix of retail, office, hotel, and flex space. Initial projections indicated potential new Corridor development was over $17 billion. This effort was part of a $1.9 million grant from the Federal Highway Administration to fund a Corridor Strategic Master Plan that included tasks to promote smart growth principles, planning studies, and implementation strategies for the future. - Information from SFRPC's "10 Years Down The Road" 2011 report on the State Road 7 Collaborative.
