The Urban Redevelopment Area (URA) is an 11,467-acre portion of Central Palm Beach County that is the focus of revitalization and redevelopment activities. The URA allows greater development intensity (more efficent in terms of transportation) with fewer parking requirements. The designation was the result of the Infill and Redevelopment Study presented to the Board of County Commissioners in 2004.
