The transportation element of City of North Lauderdale's comprehensive plan contains a list of actions the City intends to pursue. The City intends to add the results from its first Complete Streets audit, which include landscaping and providing shade for pedestrians, to this list and share this list with FDOT.

The City sent a copy of its walking audits to FDOT, and works with FDOT on landscaping and complete streets improvements.
