The development of the Super-Walmart at the corner of SR7 and Hollywood Boulevard was an opportunity to link transportation and land use. The area is a modal hub – a future major bus transfer station for Broward County and future Gateway Mobility Hub according to the 2035 Broward Long Range Transportation Plan. The City worked with FDOT, the Broward MPO, Wal-Mart, and residents on this project.
