The City of Hallandale Beach is undertaking a visionary and strategic multimodal mobility plan to complement the 2030 Transportation Master Plan. The multimodal mobility plan will balance the community aspirations within the physical and fiscal constraints of Hallandale Beach. The plan will integrate existing bicycle, pedestrian and transit infrastructure to identify and recommend improvements to pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure to develop interconnectivity to public transit. The City of Hallandale Beach's 2030 Transportation Master Plan analyzes the City's roadway network and traffic issues; quantifies the transportation impacts of anticipated future development activity; identifies facility improvements, mitigation strategies, and costs; and proposes an trip cost allocation method for exacting fees during development project approval. The City adopted the 2030 Transportation Master Plan in June 2009.
