In 2014, the City of Deerfield Beach approved a large industrial development on the north side of Hillsboro Blvd just east of I-95, and is currently under construction. The development will be a significant employment generator, and will have implications for I-95. A traffic analysis was conducted during the comprehensive plan amendment process.
