Comments:

The City is developing a Hallandale Beach revitalization plan that is focused on Hallandale Beach Boulevard from I-95 to the Intercoastal Waterway. The revitalization plan effort will include the development of a form-based code with an urban design focus and recommendations for sidewalk widths, street furniture, etc.

The form-based code exists along the U.S. 1 Corridor. In June, 2017, the City Commission voted to support expansion of it along the Hallandale Beach corridor, subject to some revisions and approval at a second public hearing, schedule TBD.
